I recently bought some rolls of this cinefilm, Reflx 800. It's essentially a more affordable Cinestill 800T.
I brought a roll on my trip to Rome to shoot with my M4-2 and Color Skopar 35mm f2.5. I was not expecting to be so enamored with the results. Here are a few shots.

I was recently gifted a beautiful old camera, the Leica M4-2. In my opinion, it's almost perfect in every way. The only two things I'd like: a light meter, and a metal shutter curtain.
Obviously for a light meter, I should just buy an M6 (but they're 3 grand). For now phone metering works, the attached meters are bulky and gross looking. The cloth shutter curtain just makes me uneasy, and I don't think they're generally made to age very well. At least I've learned this from my canon rangefinders. I've put a dozen rolls through this or so, and it's already changed timing enough to need a CLA. Although some purists probably would say I should have done before I ever shot a roll.
I'm seriously tempted to design my own rangefinder. But I know it's an extremely difficult task. I'm curious if there's some optimal condition between mechanical and electromechanical, and some simplifying design decisions that could land me in territory of manageable. Most DIY cameras on the internet are just heinously ugly though, and I'd like to avoid this.
The Minolta Autocord is a twin lens reflex medium format camera from the 50s and 60s. It was made by Chiyoda Kogaku Seiko company of Japan. As with all TLRs, there are two lenses through which you compose and expose your photograph. The 'taking' lens in this case is a 75mm focal length, 4-element Rokkor lens with a minimum aperture of f/3.5. These lenses are extremely sharp, you'll see in photos later.
I have a couple of these, and have sold some as well. They often can be good fixer upper deals on eBay, and I find the apertures to be particularly robust to aging. The exposure timing is typically in excellent condition after a naptha cleanse. The one below had quite rought leatherette, so I replaced it with a blue leather for some character.
The Rolleiflex 2.8E is a medium form at Twin Lens Reflex (TLR) camera produced in Germany in the 1950s. I picked this one up on eBay from a seller who had it in their family, and was unsure if it worked. I gave it a clean and lubricated some of the primary shutter components. Other than that, it was fully functional.
